Staff Reporter : Kolkata, 11th. June, 2026. Shri Pradip Banerjee, a rising vocal classical singer is an ICCR empanelled artist. He has performed throughout Europe and gave renditions on many prestigious stages. On May 23, 2026 he enthralled the audience in his live recital at SAMBANDH on that evening. He was aptly accompanied by Debasish Karmakar on harmonium and Debanjan Mukherjee on tabla. 
His interpretation of Raga MEGH delivered a serene refreshing aura showcasing a stunning mastery of notes. His skillful rendition created a peaceful meditative ambience making the listener truly feel the nostalgic magic of a monsoon evening. While paying tribute to his great guru (late) Pandit Manas Chakraborty, Pradip maintained the deep ragadari while keeping the poetry and lyrical emotion intact. He did full justice to such a beautiful creation “Naa Naa Chhuyona More” of Pandit Manas Chakraborty by seamlessly weaving the nuances of the raga with profound and deeply expressive words of the song. Pradip is proving his worth as a hardworking promising newcomer in the galaxy of Indian classical aritsts in every possible way for sure.
