Staff Reporter : Kolkata, 15th June, 2026. Lovely Professional University (LPU) successfully conducted the 2nd Edition of its flagship outreach program,
“Experience LPU – A Day of Lifetime Inspiration,” in Kolkata on 14 June, 2026. The event received an overwhelming response from aspiring students and parents from various parts of West Bengal.
The event was organized to provide students and parents with comprehensive information about higher education opportunities, career-oriented learning, student development initiatives, placement support, international exposure and scholarship opportunities available at Lovely Professional University.
The program was graced by Dr. Amit Dutt, Professor and Dean, Lovely Professional University, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished university representatives including Dr. Varun Kumar, Dean & Professor; Mr. Sushant
Taheem, Coordinator – Department of Student Welfare & Event Management and Dr. Saurav, Deputy Dean, extensively interacted with students and parents and addressed various admission and post-admission related
queries.
The sessions provided valuable insights into academic excellence, campus life, industry collaborations, internships, placements, skill enhancement programs, entrepreneurship opportunities and global learning initiatives offered by LPU. Participants also gained detailed information about the university’s innovative
teaching methodologies and student-centric learning environment.
A major highlight of the event was the recognition and distribution of scholarships to deserving students based on academic excellence, sports achievements, cultural accomplishments, and performance in national-level
competitive examinations.
The program was successfully coordinated and executed by the LPU Kolkata Office team under the leadership of Mr. Bhuwan Sareen, Assistant Director, and Mr. Jitendra Kumar Dixit, Assistant Director – Communication,
Engagement & Alliances, Lovely Professional University.
