Swami Prahlad ananda : kolkata, 17th. March 2024. The free eye camp at the International Vedanta Society, Haltu ashram was conducted successfully today. We got an overwhelming response from the people of the area.
* 120+ people had their eyes checked.
* 26 poor people will have cataract operation including lens and spectacles at the Sankar Netralay, Mukundapur for free.
* 32 people got spectacles for just Rs 250/- each.
People of the area were very happy. The doctors and technicians too were happy and appreciated us for maintaining overall discipline and such heavy turnout during the camp.
