With three successful outlets already operating in Doverlane,Sodepur and Narendrapur, Babu Culture has become a beloved name among the people of Kolkata and visitors alike. Each location has garnered a loyal following, thanks to its unwavering commitment to authenticity and old world charm.

A genuine ode to old Calcutta, Babu Culture has made a place for itself in the hearts of connoisseurs of Bengali delicacy, boasting of an elaborate selection of dishes where the soul of Kolkata’s past is kept alive in its own fun way. Now even having started its own Catering Service, our existing outlets have become cultural hubs where the essence of old Calcutta is celebrated daily. From vintage decor, to traditional artwork adorning the walls to the aroma of our beloved Bengali dishes wafting through the air, Babu Culture is once again ready to spread this immersive experience, this time in Salt Lake commencing from 11th June, 12:30 pm onwards.

Founded and run by Mrs. Mridula Mazumdar, the Salt Lake outlet is yet another special milestone that is a stepping stone for everything that has been envisioned for this restaurant chain. “We wanted every visit to Babu Culture be a journey to what old Calcutta tasted like, and as we continue to expand, our goal remains steadfast, to honour the culinary legacy of Bengal and ensure it thrives for future generations. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and authenticity, ensuring that every visit to Babu Culture is a journey through the flavours and stories of old Calcutta and we wish to tell this story to as much of Kolkata as we can.”
