Adamas hosts a conference on modern physics….

Adamas University hosted the Two-Day National Conference on Frontiers in Modern Physics (NCFMP2024) recently, reaffirming its commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and developing academic camaraderie. The event attracted distinguished physicists, researchers, and academicians from across India and beyond, creating an intellectual hub for exploring fundamental aspects and cutting-edge advancements in the field of physics.

The conference was organised by the university’s Physics department and witnessed engaging discussions and enlightening presentations on a diverse array of topics, including QGP phase transition, transport through topological insulators, symmetry aspects of topological phases of matter, quantum information theory, nanophotonics, and the application of biomedical physics and engineering in the healthcare sector. Esteemed Indian physicists, including Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar awardees like Prof. Bedangadas Mohaniti from NISER Bhubaneswar, Prof. Vijay B. Shenoy from IISc Bangalore, and Prof. Krishnendu Sengupta from IACS Kolkata, graced the conference, adding their invaluable insights.
