News stardom, Kolkata, 27th. September, 2023. Yealink and WildCard has, in partnership with Microsoft, launched the first of its kind Microsoft Teams Rooms in eastern India. The AI-powered Signature Microsoft Teams Rooms, which was inaugurated by Mr Debashis Sen, Chairman NKDA/NDITA, MD, HIDCO, will serve as an experience centre to create awareness among consumers and give them an overall view about the various features and services offered by the MS Teams Rooms system.
The system is fully integrated with AI technology giving the conference rooms completely immersive and inclusive experience. The system comes with flexible installation customised to suit various meeting environments including standard rooms, board rooms, larger meetings, town halls etc.
Microsoft currently has 10 of such experience centres in south, north and western India. The latest addition in Kolkata will serve as an experience centre both eastern and northeastern markets.
The unique features of this system are the inclusiveness, ease of use, flexibility and security and manageability. The integration of AI with this system makes it a seamless and immersive experience.
The generative AI and Copilot integration allows the system to recap the entire meeting, producing summary of key points discussed and deliberated including task assigned, if any, to an individual thereby uplifting the overall experience of the meeting on Teams. It can also help analyse and create content on real time basis. One of the key features of this system is data privacy and security, Mr Saket Taneja, Director Sales for WildCard and National Distributors for Yealink in India.
“The use of AI in conducting conferences is a very good initiative. It looks like a very good platform for large corporations, offices, who can easily assimilate this,” Mr Debashis Sen said.
Government enterprises, BFSI customers, SMEs and education are some of the sectors in the eastern region, which offers a good potential for integrating this system, Mr Taneja said.
