Debasish Biswas : Mountainer, Nepal, 18th. April 2022. On 16th April we climbed Mount Nirekha at 6:30 morning and return back to Thaknak. Rest at Thaknak. Planning to climb Mount Kanchung and Cholo.
17th April Yesterday we recce the way to Mt. Kanchung. But the route is through extreme loose boulders.
In every step, loose boulders may coming down. It is found that Base Camp is not reachable.
Mt. Cholo is identified from Map. It is the same peak which we have seen stand just left of our High Camp of Mt. Nirekha.
It is like a steep Rocky Piramid shape. It cannot be done by such a small team and required lot of technical equipments.
Hence we change our plans and going towards Lobuche via Chola pass. Our next destination is Zong-la.
