Poem by – Moubani Sorcar, Famous Actress & Dancer.
I’m not the stereotype,
I do not care about the hype,
I’m not in pain,
Or claiming to be insane,
All I want is peace,
Let’s remove all the crease,
Of the untold truth,
Whether in hospitals or the booth,
Do we need to hurry,
Is there not enough worry,
Because of this isolation,
Crowded sanitised masked desolation,
Far away in some unknown land,
The sun did rise now over the sand,
Are we not in need of its golden rays,
To put light into the dark ways,
Eat well and drink your sin,
As God puts up every case with a pin,
Every lie, every wrong, every mistake,
Is a simmering cauldron of a poison lake,
We make,
Let’s undo and be the earthquake,
Undo me from being inhumane,
Let us go back to the light filled lane,
No tragedy then will make us wane,
Live a life of revolution -a story lived better than the accepted mundane.
