Techno India University Successfully Hosts The 2nd International Conference On Security, Surveillance & Artificial Intelligence (ICSSAI 2025)….

News stardom :  Kolkata, 15th September, 2025: Techno India University, one of the premier private universities in India, successfully hosted the 2nd International Conference on Security, Surveillance & Artificial Intelligence (ICSSAI 2025) on 12th & 13th September 2025 at its Salt Lake campus. The two-day global conference brought together researchers, academicians, scientists and industry leaders who shared advancements and fostered collaboration in the fields of computer science, security, surveillance and artificial intelligence.
The distinguished Chief Guest for the conference was Shri LC Mangal, Scientist & Director General (Technology Management), DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The event also featured an esteemed panel of keynote speakers, including Shri Ajit Balakrishnan, Founder, Rediff.com & Former Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIM Calcutta Prof (Dr) Niloy Ganguly, Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT Kharagpur, Dr Phil Birch, Associate Professor, University of Sussex, UK, Prof Hubert PH Shum, Professor of Visual Computing, Durham University, UK and Mr Samik Bhattacharya, Consultant & Project Manager, Deloitte Consulting, USA.
The conference primarily focused on four major tracks: Information Security (cybersecurity, blockchain, biometrics and cryptography), Innovations in Surveillance (drone technologies, urban surveillance, face recognition), Artificial Intelligence (machine learning, neural networks, robotics, healthcare applications) and Technology Trends (IoT, bioinformatics, brain-machine interface, edge and fog computing).
All accepted papers were published with Taylor & Francis (CRC Press) and submitted for indexing in Scopus, providing global visibility to the research contributions presented at ICSSAI 2025.

Such alignment will not only create opportunities for high-impact research but also position Techno India University, West Bengal, as a valued contributor to the nation’s scientific and technological frontiers.” said Shri L. Prof (Dr) Debashis Chowdhury, Conference Organizing Chair set the direction for the conference delivering insightful theme address which beautifully aligned the essence of ICSSAI-2025 with its larger vision.
