Talented Cricket Players to Emerge from Mysore Warriors Talent Hunt….

Over 200 cricket players participated in the highly anticipated talent hunt in Mysuru, with the aim to join the coveted Mysore Warriors

Staff Reporter : Mysuru, 22nd July 2024: NR Group, India’s leading agarbathi manufacturer and the proud owners of Mysore Warriors, have successfully concluded the Mysuru talent hunt, aimed to scout the top cricketing talents for the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2024. The inaugural Mysore Warriors talent hunt was held in Bengaluru at the Just Cricket Stadium on 12th July, followed by the event in Mysuru on 22nd July at SDNR Stadium. The event witnessed the thrilling participation of 200 young cricketers, including 55 medium-pace bowlers, 50 spinners, 40 batsmen, 40 all-rounders, and 15 wicket-keepers. Selected 2 players from the talent hunt will be provided with the unique opportunity to showcase their impressive cricket abilities, and join the reputable Mysore Warriors team, at the Maharaja Trophy. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Suresh M R, Manager of Mysore Warriors and Mr. Vijay Madyalkar, Assistant Coach of Mysore Warriors.

The shortlisted 2 players will undergo a conscientious training session for 15 days and will then showcase their skills at the Maharaja Trophy, held at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from 15th August to 1st September 2024. The esteemed talent hunt events have provided an unprecedented platform for young talents to play alongside reputable players and enter the professional cricketing arena. The players will further demonstrate their skills while battling out on the field for the trophy, competing against six teams from Karnataka including Hubballi Tigers, Bangalore Blasters, Mangalore Dragons, Gulbarga Mystics, and Shimmoga Lions.

Today, we witnessed their exceptional skills, and are ecstatic to see the budding players contribute to the success of bringing the Mysore Warriors team.”

Mysore Warriors Team entered KPL in 2014 and emerged champions in the same season. Two-star players from Mysore Warriors entered IPL in 2014 and the legacy continues. Most of the players selected by Mysore Warriors have carved a niche for themselves in the Indian cricketing arena. The team’s anthem is composed and sung by popular music director Mr. Raghu Dixit.
