The book was Released on 24th May 2025, at India International Center New Delhi by the Attorney General of India Shri R Venkataramani along with Justice N Wazari, Senior Advocate Amal Kr. Ganguli, Rajya Sabha Member Deepak Prakash and Rajya Sabha member Shamik Bhattacharyya. Also present were Former Chief justice of India Justice V N Khare, Former Supreme Court Judge Hemant Gupta, Additional Solicitor General Shri Chetan Sharma , Press Secretary to the President of India , Senior Advocates Rakesh Khanna, Joy Basu, Atul Chitley and various other dignitaries from various fields including Bureaucrats .
Speaking on the occasion, the Attorney General stressed the importance of the subject matter of the book and dwelled on India’s rising economic power. Justice Waziri added that India follows the fundamental principle of rule of law which is a key driver for investors in the country. Deepak Prakash Member of Rajya Sabha, raised the issue of youth empowerment and Make in India and how India has become a destination of global investment and the book will go a long way to assist Investors, Shamik Bhattacharyya another Rajya Sabha member mentioned India’s rise as a global power and mentioned his visit to Europe as part of All-Party Delegation on Operation Sindoor’s outreach initiative. He stressed that India as a stable country has much to offer in terms of growth and business. Author of the book, Som Mandal, Managing Partner of FoxMandal and an internationally recognised legal expert, emphasized on India’s growing appeal as a global investment destination vis-à-vis countries like China. He remembered one of his case involving the acclaimed international author Barbara Taylor Bradford whose book faced copyright infringement and which FoxMandal was able to successfully challenge all the way upto the Supreme Court within 24 hours, a rarity in many countries and the result of a well structured judiciary which enables access to legal remedy.
