News Stardom: Kolkata, 26th.June, 2020. This is an excerpt from Rabindranath Tagore’s RAKTOKAROBI (Red Oleanders) selected from Nandini and Bishu’s first encounter in the play. They talk of a Sky which is still alive in the both of them, allowing them to see Light in a mechanized, military State which grates it’s inhabitants into numbers and lumps rather than humans. This is a re-imagination and presentation in a different format made Amartya. Presented by Chaiti O Amartya.
Raktokarobi is a timeless play about the struggle between freedom of man’s spirit and the mechanization of the world in and around him.
