Staff Reporter : Kolkata, 6th. June, 2025: It’s the season of mangoes, and Princeton Club is serving up a delicious tribute to the king of fruits with its much-anticipated Mango Festival. Known for its flair in culinary innovation, the city’s favourite new-age social club has curated a vibrant mango-infused menu to delight food lovers. The festival began on May 23 and will continue till June 8, offering a refreshing burst of tropical flavours over both lunch and dinner.
The specially curated menu brings together a medley of unique and mouth-watering dishes where mango takes centre stage. Start your culinary journey with zesty salads and refreshing starters like Chilli Mango Smoothie, Burmese Raw Mango Salad, Bocconcini Mango Salad, Raw Mango Ceviche Salad, Tart Verde with Spicy Mango Salsa, and Chicken Wings with Hot Mango Salsa — each bite a celebration of freshness and innovation.
Main course dishes are equally indulgent, ranging from Mango Veg Teriyaki with Sticky Rice, Grilled Chicken with Asian Mango Sauce, Prawn Mango Curry with Steamed Rice, to the regional favourite Katla Curry in Totapuri Mango Gravy. For lovers of southern flavours, Chepala Pulusu, an Andhra-style tangy fish curry, adds a rustic yet flavourful touch to the spread.
No mango celebration is complete without desserts. The Mango Fest offers sweet endings with treats like Mango Pancake, Mango Rasmalai, and Mango Chia Seed Pudding — perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Prices range between Rs 150 and Rs 600, making it a luxurious yet accessible indulgence.
“Mango is undoubtedly Bengal’s favourite fruit, and our idea was to create a seasonal menu that showcases its rich, versatile appeal,” said a Princeton Club spokesperson. “Our Executive Chef, Abhijit Chakraborty, has thoughtfully designed this festive menu to highlight mango in both contemporary and traditional avatars. The overwhelming response from our patrons has been heartening, and we look forward to bringing this festival back with even more surprises next year.”
A meal for two at the Mango Festival is approximately Rs 2,000, promising a delightful culinary experience wrapped in the magic of mangoes.
