News Stardom : Patna, 31st.July, 2023. The 3rd and last online scoring round of 11th edition of the annual inter-school national CCCC Cryptic Crossword Contest (CCCC) completed on Sunday. Shreya Datta and Akshat Mishra of Navrachna School, Vadodara, Gujarat again ranked 1st in the competition. While Anuj and Aditya Mishra of DPS, Bokaro came 2nd. Abhinav Gupta and Shrey Jain of DPS, Ludhiana secured 3rd rank.
Navrachna Higher Secondary School, the winner of grand finale of CCCC 4.0, 2016, is yet again performing extraordinarily well and seems to be the top contender for the title. Anuj and Aditya Mishra of DPS Bokaro, who had slipped to 6th position in Round 2 made a comeback in Round 3 and stood 2nd. Abhinav Gupta and Shrey Jain of DPS Ludhiana who came 4th and 8th in Round 1 and 2 respectively, this time made it to top 3 . It was just 6 seconds separating the top 3 ranks.
Teams in top 10 in round 3 are : Dhara Mittal and L. Lakshmishree, The Mother’s International School, New Delhi; G. Sanjana and K. Sai Pranavi Praagnya, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School (Vidyashram), Hyderabad; Adya Singh, Notre Dame Academy, Patna; K. Yaswitha Reddy and K. Nanditha Reddy, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nellore; Bhargav Vinayak and Simarjot Kaur, BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana; Avni Atul Aslekar and Atharva S, SES Gurukul, Pune; Animesh Panigrahi and Arnav Gupta, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School (Vidyashram), Hyderabad.
The Mother’s International School, New Delhi has been consistently doing well over the years. Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad have remarkably shown their presence in all 3 online rounds and of top 25 entries in round 3, 9 are from this school. BCM Ludhiana is a new entry in the list of top 10.
