Though there are various clinical manifestations of the disease, it is mostly manifested by episodes of altered sensorium associated with abnormal movements of limbs, up rolling of eyes, frothing from mouth. It can be life-threatening. So one should not hide the disease, but consult his doctor so that the disease can be effectively treated. After proper work up and effective treatment, most of the cases can be controlled with proper medication. In some cases where medicines are not that effective surgery can have an important role in controlling the disease.”
