National Conference for CA Students organized by the Board of Studies (Operations) of ICAI….

News Stardom : Kolkata, 25th June, 2023: Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) and the Eastern India Chartered Accountants Students’ Association (EICASA) under the aegis of Students Skills Enrichment Board, ICAI organised a Two Day National Conference for CA Students on the theme ‘RRR – Reskill, Resolve, Rejoice’ on 24th & 25th June, 2023 at Science City Auditorium, Kolkata.

The Conference featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Dr. Deepak Vohra, Special Advisor in Africa & Ladakh, Made in India for the World; CA. Aman Gupta, CMO of BoAt; Ms. Jaya Kishori, Motivational Speaker; and Mr. Babar Ali, World’s Youngest Headmaster; CA Nandini Agarwal, First rank holder and youngest CA. The Conference was graced by CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, Vice President of ICAI; CA (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, Imm Past President, ICAI, CA Sushil K Goyal, Programme Director & Council Member, ICAI; CA Mangesh Kinare, Chairman of Students Skills Enrichment Board, ICAI; Central Council Members CA. Dayaniwas Sharma, CA. Vishal Doshi, CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, CA. Abhay Kumar Chhajed; CA Debayan Patra, Chairman of the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of ICAI; CA Sanjib Sanghi, Vice Chairman of EIRC and Chairman of EICASA, along with team of Regional Council office bearers & members.

The Conference provided an opportunity for students of Chartered Accountancy Course across the country to meet and discuss matters of their interest as CA students. Paper presenters from across the country presented their papers enthusiastically. Special knowledge sessions were conducted by renowned speakers from the specialised fields. Speakers were invited to give the talk on multifarious professional and motivational topics.

ABOUT THE ICAI:
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament viz., The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 in the year 1949 for regulating the profession of Chartered Accountancy in the country. The Institute functions under the administrative control of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India and Institute functions with five Regional Councils, 168 Branches covering the length and breadth of the country as well as Chapters and offices in overseas. Founded 75 years ago, the Institute has grown to cross mark of 3,70,000 members and 8,00,000 students.

ABOUT EIRC :
Among the 5 regions of ICAI Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC of ICAI) was constituted in 1952 with its jurisdiction on West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Tripura, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, providing its dedicated service to its Members and Students. EIRC has 13 Branches, many Study Circles, Study Chapters and Study Groups.

ABOUT EICASA :
EICASA is a student wing of EIRC of ICAI spread across the Eastern Region in States of West Bengal, Odisha, Assam and whole of North Eastern States having its Association of all its 13 Branches spread all over the Eastern Region.
