Merlin Group Presents 7th Edition of “Merlin Sera Pujo Award 2025″….

Staff Reporter : Kolkata, 13th October 2025: Merlin Group, India’s leading real estate conglomerate, presented the awards for the 7th edition of “Merlin Sera Pujo 2025” today at Princeton Club. The “Merlin Sera Pujo” award was instituted in 2019 by Merlin Group to encourage residents of its housing complexes to organize and celebrate Durga Puja with enthusiasm and grandeur.
At the formal ceremony, Mr. Sushil Mohta, Chairman of Merlin Group, presented awards to the winner. Merlin Urvan, the housing complex located in Dum Dum Cantonment, won the first prize of “Merlin Sera Pujo Award 2025” along with a cash prize. Merlin also recognized various other housing complexes across multiple categories.
Merlin 5th Avenue, a housing complex located in Mahisbathan, and Merlin Maximus, located in Sodepur, won the Best Idol trophy. Merlin The One and Merlin Sapphire received awards for Best Thematic Puja. Merlin Waterfront and Merlin Gangotri won the award for Best Eco-Friendly Puja. Merlin Verve, Merlin Jabakusum, Merlin Island, and Merlin Crest bagged awards in the Best Community Bonding category. Merlin Legacy and Merlin Vasundhara won the Best Traditional Craftsmanship Award. Merlin Warden Lakeview, Merlin Grove, Merlin Emerald, and Merlin Uttara received the Nari Shakti Sanman Award. Merlin Oikyo and Merlin Iris were recognized for Best Debutant. Merlin Twin, Merlin Laurel Garden, and Merlin Aspire received recognition for Best Presence in Hum Saath Saath Hain.
While presenting the awards, Mr. Sushil Mohta, Chairman of Merlin Group, said, “We at Merlin instituted the ‘Merlin Sera Pujo’ award in 2019 to encourage our valued residents across Merlin housing complexes in West Bengal to organize Durga Puja, Bengal’s biggest celebration, in its true spirit. It feels wonderful to witness the enthusiasm and energy of our residents in organizing Durga Puja. Over the past six years, the scale and grandeur of the pujas have grown manifold. What is truly inspiring is the bond and camaraderie among our residents who come together to celebrate the Puja. I thank our esteemed guests, Shri Ranojoy Bishnu, Smt. Swastika Dutta, and Smt. Souraseni Maitra, for judging and gracing this occasion. We pledge to celebrate this initiative on an even bigger scale next year and in the years to come.”
Like every year, Merlin Group organized a puja parikrama with the judges across apartments in Kolkata, Howrah, and Hooghly. Actor Ranojoy Bishnu and actresses Souraseni Maitra and Swastika Dutta engaged with residents of Merlin housing apartments across Kolkata, Hooghly, and Howrah on Mahashasthi and Mahasaptami while visiting the Puja idols. Merlin Group organized the seventh edition of “Merlin Sera Pujo 2025” across 22 Merlin housing complexes, reaching over 10,000 residents and their guests this year.
