Madurdaha School Celebrates Holistic Education with Sports and Culture at SATTA ULLAS 26….

Staff Reporter : Kolkata, 18 January, 2026: Madurdaha School successfully organised SATTA ULLAS 26, a student-centric programme aimed at promoting all-round development through a harmonious blend of sports and cultural activities. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and teachers, creating an atmosphere of discipline, creativity, teamwork, and positive energy on campus.

The programme was graced by Mr. Jaideep Mukerjea, former Indian tennis player, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Ramendu Homchaudhuri, District Governor, Rotary District 3291, as the Guest of Honour. Mr. S. Radhakrishnan, Board Member of Madurdaha School, was also present at the event, encouraging students to pursue excellence with dedication and integrity.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Mukerjea praised Madurdaha School for organising such a meaningful initiative. He emphasised that platforms like SATTA ULLAS 26 motivate students, build confidence, and instil discipline, while encouraging schools to focus on holistic development beyond academics.

Motivating the students, Mr. S. Radhakrishnan urged them to remain focused and resilient in every endeavour, stating, *“True success comes when students balance academics with sports and culture, as these experiences shape character, confidence, and leadership for life.

Dr. Homchaudhuri highlighted the role of educational institutions in shaping responsible and future-ready citizens. He noted that programmes combining sports and cultural activities play a vital role in nurturing leadership qualities, teamwork, and strong social values among young learners.

The programme featured energetic sports activities promoting physical fitness and collaboration, along with vibrant cultural performances including dance and music, showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm of the students. Ms. Anubhuti Prakash, President of Dakshini Prayash, appreciated the students’ spirited participation, noting that their enthusiasm reflected the success of the initiative. SATTA ULLAS 26 concluded on a high note, reaffirming Madurdaha School’s commitment to holistic and inclusive student development.
