J.D. Birla Institute celebrates Republic Day….

News stardom : Kolkata: 30th. January 2022. Students and staff J.D. Birla Institute, undeterred in their spirit despite the pandemic, commemorated and celebrated the 73rd Republic Day during Indian’s 75th year of independence from British rule. Maintaining all protocols amidst Covid pandemic, the event was held virtually and attended by the students, faculty and staff of the college. Selected members of the faculty and staff members were present at the campus for the celebration under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. An online inter-department essay competition on the theme, ‘Spirit of the Indian Republic’ was organized. The National flag was unfurled by Prof. Deepali Singhee, Principal of the college, which was followed by a recitation by the students of the Department of Management. Students prepared a flip-book showcasing the glory and achievements of India. The e-book highlights their immense optimism about India, their motherland. Long live the Indian Republic!
