Industry-Academia platform ‘The Communicators’ launched….

News Stardom : Kolkata: 3rd. September, 2022. This Saturday Ranjan Sen, Bangladesh Deputy Commissioner, Kolkata India expressed that the Bangladesh government is looking forward to a collaborative research approach with India at the launching event of The Communicators. Present at the same event the Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Nimai Chandra Saha expeessed he had a similar vision where both the government and private universities can be into such collaborative approaches.

The mission and vision of The Communicators has been patronised by a group of talented minds from different media organisations throughout the world. This includes Prof. Arvind Singhal, Prof. Arthus Asa Burger, Prof. Srinivas R Melkote, Prof. Daya Thussu, Prof. Saswati Goswami, Prof. Vibodh Pattha among others.


On 3rd of September 2022 in the premises of Press Club, Kolkata, renowned academicians, communications leaders from corporate and civic societies, industry specialists and journalists from across India joined to be the part of the launch event.


The Communicators, an inclusive, interdisciplinary, and global platform launched to offer an unbiased and interactive forum for professionals and academicians, devoted to promoting excellence in the practice of communication. It was launched by Chief guest along with guests of honour including Prof. Nimai Chandra Saha Honourable Vice Chancellor, The University of Burdwan, Mr. Snehashis Sur, President of Press Club, Dr Buroshiva Dasgupta and Ms Ina Bose of Sister Nivedita University.


This forum aims to connect communication professionals across a large spectrum of institutions such as universities, media corporations and non-profit organizations involved in research and practice of communication.


The platform looks forward to integrating researchers, academicians, corporate communicators into a communication forum. The event got applauded by more than 60 participants who were present through hybrid mode of communication.
