Gourab Sarkar’s new release Aalgoche……

News Stardom : kolkata, 28th. April 2021.  Singer Gourab Sarkar released his new original ‘Aalgoche’ on 12th February. The song is written and sung by himself, music directed by Suvam Moitra and visually presented by Prasanta Kumar Sur. The song is all about founding one’s soul in the mountains.

“The song aalgoche was made, actually suddenly made while travelling into the mountains. We went to Sandakphu, and I wrote the song there and then Suvam Da sent me an initial music. Suvam Da and I chalked out the song and put the lyrics while staying in the mountains. Our videographer Prasanta Kumar Sur, also went to travel the mountains. So, the whole work was done very fast, without any prior planning. All of a sudden after seeing the ambience, Prasanta insisted why not do a song, Suvam Da sent me the music, I chalked out the lyrics, the whole arrangement was done in 2-3 days, and we shot the whole song there. A small song, Aalgoche, this is actually the journey of feeling oneself in the mountains. this about Driving away from the regular life and finding oneself among the mountains. It is simple song with simple lyrics and minimal arrangements with just a guitar. This song was later edited by Prasanta Kumar Sur, who himself did all the cinematography. ” said Gourab Sarkar.
Singer Gourab Sarkar,was the first runner-up of the show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2019’, and stole many hearts with his melodious voice. Gourab, who is known for his versatile singing, is all set to entertain the audience once again. Gourab, masters in Indian classical, semi classical, Sufi and Bengali traditional songs.
The singer was one of the strongest contestants of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, judged by Shantanu Moitra, Srikanta Acharjee and Monali Thakur.
