News Stardom : Kolkata, 14th March, 2021; Designer Papri Jain & Pompa Chowdhury in association with “Prayas” hosted the extremely anticipated fashion parade “Walk for a Cause”, a unique fashion extravaganza crafted for specially-abled children.
Renowned Dancer & Choreographer Avirup Sengupta presented the evening with his sensational artistic choreography. The night put up a spectacular display of the hottest trends to watch out for by the renowned designers.
Celebrities from various walks of life to walk with special Children in their endeavour to encourage the beautiful souls. Former Mrs India pageant, actor, the diva of fashion industry, Richa Sharma was the grand show stopper on the night. Devalina Kumar, Riddhi Bandopadhyay and many more matched steps with these kids to celebrate the night highlighted as “Fashion For A cause”.
‘Prayas’ started their work with children affected with cerebral palsy, HIV/AIDS infected & affected and economically disabled children and also started to work on societal issues like economical, ethical, health backwardness from 2003.
The event was crafted to bring fresh motivation in the lives of these special kids who experienced enormous suffocation due to thorough lockdown and global pandemic.
The designers showcased timeless pearls, sparkles and glitters, sequins and stones, shimmer and shine, textured and sheer fabrics combined with sense of love and affection in the fashion extravaganza.
