To give less privileged children ( 3 yrs to 12 yrs ) a platform to hone their natural talents and abilities to a level where they can use these skills to develop thier inner ability , Kolkata based ngo Best Friendz Society jointly along with an inclusive school The Basic Funda started a children activities center in Tollygunge. Just at Rs 11/- a monthly learning more than 11 activities.
Egaro takar Pathshala will be offering children a chance to learn more than 7 activities like Art & Craft , Baking , Yoga , Basic Computers , Storytelling , Speak in English , Personal Grooming through trained mentors.In future they plan to add Self-defense module which will help in addressing domestic violence and sexual abuse along with physical fitness.
” Tollygunge is our first center . We plan to open many others in collaboration with the local partners , volunteers , clubs, and shelters through our ngo Best Friendz Society & our club in the near future . All courses are well planned for weekends after school programs and are designed for a six month course . ” said Seema Bahri , Founder/ Principal of The Basic Funda School & appointed Chairperson of Best Friendz Club 2023 – 2025 .
