News Stardom : Kolkata, 9th. February, 2021. The city of joy is suffering from an unusual problem. The problem of deep sleep. The city already has a reputation of always staying in deep slumber. This time the reputation took a more literal turn. Many people, including the youngsters, are suffering from an overdose of sleep. They don’t want to get up, don’t want to work or study. All they want is to sleep all day long. The doctors are still in search of the cause of this bizarre phenomenon.
Sandip Mukherjee, a 26-year-old small towner arrives in Kolkata. Sandip grew up in Gobindapur. His father Bimal owns a small grocery shop there.
Sandip is a slothful work-shy who only dreams of getting a big job from Kolkata. Bimal always reprimands his only son for this bovine behavior and asks him to at least take the govt job exams or look after his shop. Sandip pays no heed to his father’s constant lectures. His confidence reaches cloud nine when he meets a man who looks like a soothsayer but introduces himself as a Swapno Upodeshta (Dream Counsellor). This man assures him that he will get a phone call from a big office soon.
Proving the prophecy right Sandip gets a call from a strange man who introduces himself as Animesh Sen and persuades him to come to Kolkata for a job interview. He refuses to share any more details over the phone with Sandip. He only asks him to wait in front of Shyambazar Global.
Sandip reaches Kolkata and waits at the given location. After few minutes a man approaches him and asks him to follow. Sandip follows the man. This man takes him inside the small alleys of North Kolkata. Sandip tries to strike a conversation with this man but he stays absolutely mum without giving him any shred of information about where they are going.
After few minutes he stops in front of a semi-dilapidated building and asks him to go to the roof. Sandip enters the house and heads to the roof. At the chilekothar ghor he meets Animesh Sen. Animesh tells him that he has a technology through which he can send promotional videos of different brands directly in the dreams of common people. He calls his company Dream Boutique. Animesh says to him that in today’s fast-paced life, people have no time to look at ads in hoardings. They skip channels during tv commercials. Dreams are the only place where you can grab their attention as there is no skip button in dreams. That’s why he uses people’s dreams as a platform to showcase different brands’ commercials.
He offers Sandip a job of a dream salesman. His job will be to deal with various brands and convince them to use Animesh’s technology for their brands’ commercials.
Sandip takes up the job. But things take a sharp turn when Sandip realizes that this dream boutique is just a facade. Animesh has bigger plans with his technology that can affect a lot of people. All hell breaks loose when Sandip finds himself in the center of a nasty plan laid by Animesh.

His boss Animesh Sen (Anirban Chakraborty) invented an incredible technology through which he shows ads of different brands directly to people’s dreams. Things take a sharp turn when Sandip realises that this company is just the tip of an iceberg of a notorious plan laid by Animesh.
Directed by Tathagata Banerjee and written by Sagnik Roy Chowdhury, this series takes a trip to the deepest and darkest psyche of human minds traversing through hope, love, passion, sinister betrayal and realisation.
