Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal honoured with ‘International Meditation Teacher Award’ by LIONS MAGNATES….

Staff Reporter : Kolkata, 30th. December, 2024. Internationally acclaimed motivational healer Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal was honoured with the prestigious ‘International Meditation Teacher Award’.

To commemorate the 1st World Meditation Day, this award ceremony was organized by Lions Club of Kolkata Magnates at Bauddha Dharmankur Sabha on 23rd December 2024.
The majestic Award was presented by Ven. Bhikkhu Bishwajit, Assistant Secretary of Bauddha Dharmankur Sabha of India and Treasurer of Bharatiya Sangharaja Bhikkhu Maharaja (Bodhgaya), along with Parthasarathi Chakraborty, CEO of MCKV Engineering College, Charter President LION Asish Basak and other senior LIONS MAGNATES officials.
They handed over the Award to Dr. Agarwal for his outstanding contributions to the promotion and teaching of meditation practices worldwide.
The event featured an inspiring address by Dr. Agarwal, who emphasized the transformative power of meditation. He described it as a vital tool for achieving inner peace, emotional stability and mental clarity. “Meditation is not just a practice; it is a journey toward self-awareness and harmony with the world,” he stated.
Dr. Suresh Agarwal encouraged everyone to incorporate meditation into their daily lives to combat stress and cultivate mindfulness.
The presence of several important personalities underscored the significance of the occasion, highlighting the intersection of spirituality, education and mindfulness.  Following the formal ceremony, Dr. Agarwal conducted a short guided meditation session, which was well-received by the audience. He led attendees through a simple yet profound breathing exercise, encouraging them to focus on the present moment. The session provided a glimpse into the techniques that have earned him international recognition as a meditation teacher.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Advocate Basu Deo Agarwal, Lopamudra Sarkar, Pranati Saha, Sangita Das, Sampa Ghosh, Kunal Roy, Manoj Rakshit, Abir Mazumdar, Bandana Saha, Swapna Pramanik and other notable figures, who praised Dr. Agarwal’s contributions to spreading the practice of meditation. The ceremony concluded with a message of unity and a call to embrace meditation as a means of enhancing personal and collective well-being.
Dr. Agarwal’s award serves as a testament to his dedication and the profound impact of his teachings in fostering peace and mindfulness worldwide.
