October 2024.   Desun Hospital conducted a free health checkup camp in Khanakul, Hooghly district, on October 3, to provide critical medical support for several hundred residents affected by the recent floods in West Bengal under the initiative of Shaoli Dutta, Director of Desun Hospital Group. Khanakul, one of the worst-hit areas, has experienced severe flooding as water bodies in multiple districts overflowed due to heavy rainfall.

The health camp was established to address the escalating health concerns in the flood-affected regions, particularly focusing on issues such as waterborne diseases, infections, and other common ailments that arise after such natural disasters. Over a thousand people benefited from the free health checkup camp, receiving essential medical care and attention. A dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Desun Hospital provided free medical checkups, consultations, and essential medicines to local residents, offering them much-needed relief during this difficult period.
