Building a Safer Community: First Aid Workshop….

News Stardom : Kolkata 27th July, 2023: SPK Jain Futuristic Academy, today, organized an important and potentially life-saving session which was hosted at their school in Newtown. The First Aid session commenced at 1:00 PM in the presence of, Dr. Somenath Gorain, a respected Consultant Pediatric Intensivist at Bhagirathi Neotia Woman and Child Care Centre, Newtown; Secretary Jaideep Patwa & Principal of SPK Jain Futuristic Academy Darshan Mutha.
In today’s fast-paced world, having the ability to respond promptly and efficiently in emergencies can make all the difference. The First Aid session organized by SPK Jain Futuristic Academy presented an unique opportunity to learn vital life-saving skills. Participants gained essential knowledge that could empower them to take swift and decisive action in crisis situations, potentially saving lives.
The First Aid session was led by Dr. Somenath Gorain, a highly respected Consultant Pediatric Intensivist at Bhagirathi Neotia Woman and Child Care Centre, Newtown. With an impressive wealth of expertise and experience in the medical field, Dr. Gorain provided invaluable real-world insights into administering first aid, focusing on techniques that everyone can apply effectively during an emergency situation. The event was open to all members of the SPK Jain Futuristic Academy community, including students, staff, parents, and anyone associated with the school.
Through this training session, SPK Jain Futuristic Academy aims at helping individuals acquire the confidence and competence needed to handle various emergency scenarios, from minor injuries to critical medical situations. The First Aid session was an enlightening and interactive event, providing attendees with hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to reinforce the learning process.
