News Stardom : 16th. March. 2021. NSCN (K-YA) cadre from Nginu village in Khonsa, Arunachal Pradesh,
 (UNLF ) United National Liberation Front male and  female cadres of 
(PREPAK) People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak in Imphal(East) ,
 4 NSCN(IM) cadres in  Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh,
 NSCN (K-YA) cadre from Longman village  in Jairampur,Arunachal Pradesh  and  PREPAK (PRO) cadre from Litan Makhong area of Imphal(East).

CONTRABANDS and  SMUGGLED GOODS:

  Rs 2.54 Crores worth, 1.27 kgs of brown sugar recovered near Tengnoupal district of Manipur.

Rs 1.3 Crores worth smuggled goods 
and  Areca Nuts worth  89 Lakhs were also seized near Champhai, Mizoram.

Rs 41 Lakhs of Heroin in Thuampui (Aizawl) were also recovered. 

Smuggled goods worth Rs 36 Lakhs from a forest area in Tengnoupal district and 
Areca nuts worth Rs 16 Lakhs from Khengjoi in Chandel District,Manipur. 

Achievements in the field of  SPORTS:

Assam Rifles Football team  won ASSAM RIFLES INVITATIONAL FOOTBALL CUP-2021  beating the defending champions Lawmali by 3-2 in a nail biting final match played at Laitkor,Shillong .

AR  Shooting Team won maximum  medals (10 Gold, 11 Silver and  06 Bronze) amongst 08 state teams in the 8th North East Zone Shooting Championship. 

Two of Assam Rifles Horsemen have been selected as part of Indian Equestrian Team for International Tent Pegging Federation World Cup Qualifiers.
