They are expected even today to fall into a typical mould of getting married and looking after the family and maintaining households yet they in turn not only stand in realizing their dreams and responsibilities , they also stand up against societal pressures and ill practices in different avatars .
Zee Bangla once again creates a protagonist who is a commoner, yet she rises to fight for set misconceptions in society , for herself and to set straight the oddities practiced around her .

SYNOPSIS :
APARAJITA APU / অপরাজিতা অপু।
মফস্বলের প্রাণোচ্ছল মেয়ে অপু একটু ডাকাবুকো ও বটে। মা বাবা দুই দাদা দিদিকে নিয়ে ভরা সংসার। বাবার বক্তব্য ছেলেরা লেখাপড়া করে চাকরি করবে সংসারের হাল ধরবে আর মেয়েরা বিয়ে করে শ্বশুরবাড়ি গিয়ে ঘরকন্যা করবে – সেটাই তাদের আসল জায়গা ,আসল কাজ। কিন্তু অপু চায় নিজের পায়ে দাঁড়াতে, মন দিয়ে লেখাপড়া করে সরকারি চাকরি করে পরিবারের পাশে দাঁড়াতে।
অপুর দিদি সুপর্ণার বিয়েতে শাশুড়ি পণ চাইলে অপু পুলিশের ভয় দেখিয়ে পণ নেয়া আটকায় ও দিদির বিয়ে ভাঙতে দেয় না। এমনই সময় অপুর জীবনে আসে দিপু। দিপু অপুর দিদি সুপর্ণার দেওর , দিপুর কাছে তার মায়ের কথা শেষ কথা; আর সুপর্ণা র শাশুড়ি ও দিপুর মা চায়না বাড়ির কোন মেয়ে বা বউ চাকরি করুক। অপু আর দিপুর সম্পর্ক কি আদৌ পরিণতি পাবে ? অপু কি সমাজ-সংসারের সব বাধা পেরিয়ে নিজের লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছতে পারবে ?
