December, 2021 : The mellow December sunlight, the scintillating yuletide décor and the aroma of freshly baked cakes wafting in from Bakery festival, set the perfect backdrop for welcoming the Santa Claus and Christmas at Acropolis Mall. Acropolis Mall, India’s one of the premium malls has played the santa for the children of Pathchala and ushered in the merry Christmas in right spirit.
The mall has Decked in dazzling Christmas décor with its theme christened Enchanting Christmas. Modeled on recently released “Encanto” the Disney animated musical flick on the Madigals and their magic house, this is first time in the world any mall has been decked up in this avatar. This has given a perfect reason to Acropolis mall to organize a tour of the children to the enchanting décor and present Christmas goodies to them. The children performed a street play against the backdrop the colourful butterflies and macaos and the magical Madigal house . The play carries a social message on joy of giving. Two youngsters namely Rupayan Paul, an aspiring actor and Abhrajit Bhattacharya directed the street play and trained the less privileged kids of Pathchala. The children enacted their first play in Rashbehari Avenue and this is the second such play at Acropolis Mall.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. K Vijayan, GM, Acropolis said , “ The Yuletide season always brings raptures to our lives as we indulge in shopping spree and freshly baked cakes. We chose this occasion to celebrate the merry Christmas and share our joy with the little children of Pathchala in an humble way. It is heartening to see them enacting the play. We at Acropolis Mall are offering children and their families to enjoy their Christmas and new year here with the magical décor on the theme of soon to be released animated movie “Encanto”. The Bakery Festival “Flavours of Bakery” is on from 22nd December to 26th December between 12 noon and 10 pm .
