News Stardom : kolkata, 23rd December, 2022 : The countdown to the Merry Christmas has started in the right earnest with the Bakery festival at Acropolis Mall. Acropolis Mall has hosted its fourth edition of Bakery Festival yesterday in association with Friends FM and Bhoj Adda.
Christened “Flavours of Bakery” – the festival would treat cake lovers with an array of innovative cakes, pastries and ice cream. Brands like The Cake Boutique, Khadure, Royale Confectioners, Flurys, Cakelicious, Mambo’s , Turkisyano m Choco Fantasy and The Lalit great Eastern are all set to lure foodies with their assortment of yuletide treat. in “The Flavours of Bakery”, the bakery festival being held in Acropolis Mall to cater to the sweet tooth of foodies. The appetizing aroma of freshly baked cakes, muffins, cupcakes and more also are inviting foodies and people of Kolkata to treat their palate with their favourite desserts in endless variety. The Bakery Festival “Flavours of Bakery” is on from 22nd December to 26th December between 12 noon and 10 pm .
Actress Sayantani Guhathakurta graced the occasion and inaugurated the festival with K Vijayan, GM , Acropolis Mall , Rukmini Paul, President, Pathchala today. The event started with the Christmas carol and dance by the children of Pathchala , an NGO working for poor children in and around Kalighat. The festival turned intereting with a cake eating contest among the children of Pathchala for one minute. Mr. K Vijayan, GM , Acropolis mall also presented Christmas goodies to the children on behalf of Merlin Group. To add to the spirit , The mall has Decked in Christmas décor.
The brands have displayed a wide array of cakes, pastries, cookies , ice creams.The Lalit Great Eastern is selling their special dessert delicacies apart from their all time favourite Dundee cake and Plum cake. like Cakelicious boasts of their Strawberry Tart, Chocolate Eclair and French Vol Au Vent besides cakes and pastries. Choco Fantasy is rejoicing in their Caramel filling Chocolate and Fresh Strawberry Dip apart from other assortment. Turkisyano is presenting their exotic Biryani ice cream and Red Velvet Oreo ice cream . Flurys are here with their popular Fruit Cake and Plum cake. The cake Boutique is all set to lure foodies with their Christmas plum cake and some other varieties like tea cake, carrot cake , chocolate cupcakes. Mango pastries and cookies besides a host of other assortments. Mambo’s are also not trailing behind with a plethora of options ranging from trendy jar cakes , softy Moussue jars to cutie cupcakes and Boldy Brownies, yummy tarts , refreshing coolers in different flavours.
