A new ray of hope for a better tomorrow….

News stardom : Kolkata, 23rd September, 2025. “A new ray of hope for a better tomorrow” : this seems to be the most important goal of Pitrashish Foundation, a promising NGO working tirelessly to end the misery and plight of humanity, such as child labor, child marriage, women empowerment and education.
The fourth anniversary of Pitrashish Foundation was celebrated with pomp and grandeur on 21st September, 2025. A whopping number of more than 600 people participated in the programme. Brand new sarees were distributed to 250 women and girls. 100 children were given new dresses and 100 men were donated new lungis and mosquito nets. Children staged cultural programmes to beautify the occasion. The programme started with the auspicious Ganesh Vandana by Tanaya Saha, volunteer of Pitrashish Foundation. Jela Savadhipati Mrs. Chinmoyee Mirandi came to grace the occasion as she was the chief guest of the programme. After delivering a remarkable speech, she mentioned that she is always besides the Pitrashish Team and appreciated the hard work of Pitrashish Foundation in the rural areas. She mentioned how beautifully and determined the team is and the way they are working for development of women and children, especially in the hygiene sector such as distribution of free sanitary napkins to girls and women in the remotest villages of Jhargram deserves praise. She praised the volunteers of Pitrashish Foundation who work tirelessly everyday to survey and bring latest and current news about the condition of women and children in the villages and thereby, work hard on these issues everyday to make development a reality.
The cultural programme was accompanied by dance performances by the women with children volunteers of the organization respectively. Villagers were extremely happy to receive brand new gifts before Durga Puja.
Many eminent personalities, social workers of Jhargram were also present in the anniversary programme. Representatives of Sankalp Foundation and Manabata Foundation were also present in the programme too. Pitrarish Foundation felicitated them with flower bouquet, momento and sweet packets. Nishant Prakash,, the president of Pitrashish Foundation felicitated Mrs. Chinmayee Morandi with flowers while Sujata Gupta, the secretary of the organization, offered her with momento and sweet packets.
