Staff Reporter : Kolkata, 10th September, 2025. Lions Clubs International, District 322B2, is presenting the prestigious Shiksha Sanman Awards 2025 recently at a premier club in Kolkata. These awards honour individuals and institutions for their outstanding contributions in education, arts, research, administration, and social development—fields that shape society and inspire generations.
This year’s distinguished awardees include Dr. Chandrani Biswas, Prof. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, Manoshi Roychowdhury, Shyam Thapa, Prof. Dr. Bhabatosh Biswas, Jaya Seal Ghosh, Prof. Dr. Dipa Dube, Dr. Sombrata Roy, Prof. Satyajit Chakrabarti, Prof. Dr. Samapika Das Biswas, Pandit Bickram Ghosh, Ushoshi Sengupta, Prof. Dr. N.K. Chakrabarti, and Sunita Sen—luminaries from music, literature, dance, sports, law, science, administration, and education.
Established to highlight education as a cornerstone of nation-building, the Shiksha Sanman has previously recognised eminent personalities such as Dr. Achyut Samanta, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah (Retd.), Prof. Poonam Saxena, Prof. Chintamani Mohapatro, and Tanushree Shankar.
