News Stardom : kolkata, 3rd. December 2021. 22nd National Conference of Practising Company Secretaries on the theme ‘Passion for Profession: Empowering Entrepreneurship & Excellence’ inaugurated on today 3rd December at Vaidik village, Kolkata.


The 22nd edition of the National Conference of Practising Company Secretaries, being organised on the theme ‘Passion for Profession: Empowering Entrepreneurship & Excellence’ was inaugurated in Kolkata on 3rd December, 2021, in the benign presence of Dr. Navrang Saini, Chairperson (Designate) & Whole Time Member, IBBI, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with Swami Suparnananda ji, Secretary, The Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, as the Special Guest.
In alignment with Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative of Government of India, the National Conference is aimed at bringing together a plethora of innovative ideas that will narrate the outline of governance and provide variables of powering Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Navrang Saini, said “I acknowledge the unstinted support and effort of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and its members in the corporate sector and in nation building ” He also gave a detailed explanation of the entire procedure at IBC and highlighted on the opportunities available for the Practising Company Secretaries in the sector.

Swami Suparnananda ji set the tempo of the conference with his inspirational address where he enlightened the gathering about the sync between mind, body and soul. Attuning to the theme of the conference, he said “Efficiency and Creativity are the two mantras that would help the professionals in realising their passion for the profession as well as their dreams.”

The deliberations at the two day congregation, on the following sub-themes, will provide the participants an opportunity to explore the renewed role and responsibility of a Company Secretary, as value driven professionals in the wake of recent regulatory developments.

Emerging Opportunities: Outlook, Risks & Preparations Briefing the Press Conference about the National Conference, CS Nagendra D Rao, President the ICSI, said, “Practising Company Secretaries have made a mark for themselves in the field of entrepreneurship by fuelling inclusive growth besides ensuring robust compliance and best governance practises all throughout India Inc. They have been contributing immensely in building a sustainable, ethical and socially beneficial economy.”

CS Manish Gupta, Council Member, the ICSI and Chairman PCS Committee, CS Sandip Kejriwal, Council Member, the ICSI, CS Sudhir Banthiya, Chairman, EIRC of ICSI & Programme Coordinator, and CS Asish Mohan, Secretary, the ICSI were also present at the Press Meet.
